How to find the hearing date in a case
The hearing shows in the case file with date, time, and panel. What does not show immediately: changes made on the hearing day itself.
Where the hearing appears
In the case file on portal.just.ro, under hearings: date, time, panel, and courtroom when the court publishes it. The summons remains the official act — the portal is informational. If the case is at the High Court, hearings are published separately on scj.ro, in the session lists.
How fast it updates
The portal pulls from ECRIS periodically, not in real time. In practice a new hearing usually appears the same day or the next. The exception that hurts is the hearing day itself: the time can change, the panel can change, and the case can be postponed during the morning — and if you looked last night, you have no way of knowing.
What to do on the day
Check the court's session list that morning, not just the case file. If you are travelling to another town, check before you leave. And keep the summons: the portal does not replace service of process, and a wrongly published list is not a procedural excuse.
