Invoicing software for lawyers, with e-Factura in SPV
Fees come from hours, expenses, and retainers; the invoice goes to SPV. Three ways to issue, one case record behind them.
From hours to invoice
Time is recorded against a case or a project (the client mandate), with its own rate when you bill that work preferentially. At month end you pick a client's unbilled hours, add billable expenses and the retainer, and they become a draft. The draft stays editable until you issue it — you decide which hours make it onto the invoice.
Three routes to SPV
Issue through Oblio or SmartBill if you already use them for accounting, or through ANAF directly via OAuth on logincert.anaf.ro — with your own series, no PFX file, and no third party in between. One fiscal provider is active at a time. Either way the invoice reaches SPV, and the e-Factura status sits next to the matter it came from.
What else a firm needs
The buyer on the invoice can differ from the client in your records — a group company, another CIF — so fiscal entities are kept separate from clients. Then there are your own series, VAT on collection where it applies, several IBANs with a per-invoice choice, recurring monthly retainers with automatic drafts, and an SPV inbox for what arrives.
What it costs
Billing is not an add-on: it is included on every paid plan, from 99 RON a month excl. VAT for one lawyer plus an assistant. You never pay extra to issue e-Factura, on any tier — tiers differ on volume: seats, cases, monitors, storage.
