What law-practice software costs in Romania
The listed price is rarely the price paid: what matters is what you are charged for — users, modules, cases — and what stays an extra. A comparison guide, plus our own prices.
Three ways to charge, with very different effects
Per user: the price grows with every colleague, and a five-person firm quickly pays several times the headline figure. Per module: the page price is a starting point — billing, timesheet, or company monitoring are added separately, and the total can no longer be worked out without a consultant. Per firm: one price with clear volume limits. No model is universally right, but there is a simple test: if you cannot work out your total from the pricing page, the listed price is not your price.
What to ask before you sign
1. What is the monthly total for the number of people you actually have, with VAT? 2. Are invoicing and e-Factura included, or an add-on? 3. Is there a cap on active cases, and what happens when you pass it? 4. Is portal.just.ro sync automatic, and how many times a day — or does someone copy hearings by hand? 5. What happens to your data if you leave: is there an export? 6. What is the minimum term, and how do you reduce seats?
LexAgenda pricing, in full
Solo 99 RON/month (2 seats), Cabinet 249 RON/month (5 seats), Firm 599 RON/month (15 seats) — all excl. VAT, ~20% off when billed annually. Extra seats above Firm are 39 RON/month. Enterprise is on request from 25 people. Free · Alerts stays free: 25 cases under watch, email alerts, the hearings calendar. Every paid plan carries the same features — timesheet, billing with e-Factura (Oblio, SmartBill, or native ANAF), projects, .docx templates, iCal, and Trade Register monitoring. Only the volume differs: seats, cases, monitors, storage.
Where we lose
If you need desktop software that runs without internet, we are not it. If you want full accounting inside the same product, we do not have it — we connect to Oblio and SmartBill instead of rebuilding it. If you need a consultant to configure everything on site and in-person training, other vendors do that better; we bet on a product that explains itself, with an FAQ, guides, and email support. And if you want to try before deciding, open a demo with real cases without talking to anyone.
How to check everyone else's prices
Market prices change, and some figures circulating in vendor-published comparisons are stale or describe a different bundle. Do not take them on trust from anywhere, including here: go to each vendor's own pricing page, or ask for a written quote for your user count and the features you need, then compare monthly totals with VAT. That is the only comparison that counts.
